Y.Yeb.II, 4a top ועבדים יש להם ייחוס (read יַיחַס) have slaves legal pedigrees?Pl. יְחָסִים, יְחָסִין. Ib. Y.Kidd.II, 62c bot. אם הטעה לשבח י׳ if he deceived her inasmuch as he proved of higher birth than he had presented to her.
